Bio:
I am a 30 year old writer living in the Black Country, UK. I am a huge fan of Raymond Carver, and of masters of the short story such as William Trevor, Flannery O'Connor and Isaac Babel. I love Milan Kundera and am trying to sharpen up my Czech to read his early books in the original. I am also, intermittantly, a fanatical researcher of nutritional therapy and the depredations of corporate agriculture and the pharmaceutical industry. Having ADHD and Asperger's syndrome, I also have an interest in psychology. That and an obsessive interest in antique typewriters.

Status message:
The UK is going through a Postal Strike, to my knowledge it hasn't been solved as of yet. All of my books which are being sent Internationally shall most probably be sent Via Airmail as I found it was only about 2 pounds more to send internationally and not that much different in price than sending a book to a fellow UK person.
Also I shall include with the book 1 Bookmooch Bookmark :) and a Card.

I always send 2nd Class postage in the UK. I usually send International books through Air mail, depends how much it is and how much I have on me that day. I do try and send the books out within the week they get mooched. You can request more than one book.

Happy to send outside of the UK - I have changed my details to reflect this: I will send my books anywhere in the world! Please note, books outside the UK will be sent by Surface Mail. I'll send by 2nd class in the UK.

I give information on all my books - daft little psycho that I am - you will always see notes if there's anything untoward.

Time and money permitting I will normally send books in 2-3 days.

My only request is that you *please* reciprocate by sending a postcard of your town/country? Or something fun that I can pin on my notice-board :)

Hello fellow moochers!

Studied literature at Uni and have accumulated so many books. I have book cases and shelves full of them! I used to sell them on Amazon - but sell being the operative word - Amazon is just about making money. Only joined BookMooch a couple of weeks ago but I love the spirit of it! I know my books will go to a good home and be loved - and OMG - I get books posted to me FREE! It's like Xmas every day?!

One of my BookMooch friends - Kay (USA: SC) - asked in her profile for people to send postcards if a book was sent to them. I think that's a great idea :o) I am happy to send postcards / stamps or any small & light item actually if I have it - so if you're a collector - just ask! I'll do that even if I send a book to YOU if I have it :)

I sell Avon cosmetics in my spare time ... yes I knock on doors! And I enjoy it. Being quite a shy person at heart ... it's been really good for me and I've made loads of friends ... especially with people who only live streets away from me that I didn't know before.

Loopy about cats - we have 3 - aged 3, 5, and 14.

Mad about language - especially French. If you have any French books - easy, medium or hard to read - serious, cartoon(animated) or otherwise let me know as I might be interested ;)
