Status message:
I've been an avid reader for as long as I can remember. It's now got to the point where my house is full of books yet to be read, so I need to offload the ones I've read - except for a few very special books that are 'keepers'.
I prefer to send my books to loving homes, where they are wanted, not to gather dust on a charity shop shelf and definitly not in the bin!

I've sent loads of books abroad in the past couple of weeks so need to cut down a little on postage costs - although I do love to post abroad.
If mooching from outside UK, please e mail me first and I will check postage costs first. Thanks

I will post surface mail to US so please allow up to 2 months for delivery.
Books to Europe, I'll usually send air-mail if fairly light, otherwise i might send surface mail too.

Bio:
If the book is first hand (i.e. gift or self-bought) you can expect it to be in impeccable condition. Spines new, pages untouched, near mint. That's the majority of books I keep. However, if it's a mass-market paperback, I probably got it second hand. Expect some mild wear, but still good condition with all pages and cover intact. All books stay on a dry shelf, in a non-smoker, no-pet household.

Status message:
I will be back from vacation and sending out mooches at the end of September.

Bio:
I'm mostly looking to declutter my mass of books before I run away to the circus (well, a TEFL/TESOL course but the circus sounds better!).

I will send books internationally, but it will depend on the country and book size/weight. I mostly send books surface mail, the official time for this is 56 days.

Status message:

I will send out my books second class postage (or the cheapest method if going out of the country - usually surface mail which can take some weeks to arrive), as soon as possible after a book has been requested.

Bio:
My books are all in good condition, unless stated. I do look after them very well, and take care not to bend the pages back when reading. There are slight creases down some of the spines, but mostly it's hard to tell that they've been read!

I do have two cats, but my books come from a smoke-free home.

Status message:
To help keep costs down I send books by 2nd class post to the UK, by airmail to Europe and surface mail to the rest of the world (which can take 6 weeks). Please feel free to mooch more than one book from me as this also lowers the costs.
