Status message:
All my books are in good reasonable condition, some are ex library books or market stall books. If the condition is important to you then please contact me and I will descibe in detail.I am happy to send my books around the world but will send surface mail mainly due to cost. I usually post every Saturday morning so if you need a book urgently please just get in touch and I will post sooner if possible.

I am 36 years old and live in Lancashire in the UK with my Fiance Andy and our 5 cats Cassie,Ernie, LB, Trio and Harry. Reading is my passion and I always have a book or two on the go at all times.

Overseas-If I can't post a specific book overseas I usually say so in the book condition notes, please check before asking.

You are mooching a second hand book which has been registered with bookcrossing. This will contain a bookcrossing label on the inside front cover (or on the fly-leaf). Once you have recieved the book it is officially yours by right of ownership, bookcrossing is merely a suggestion, not an obligation! This book is likely to show signs of wear, but unless otherwise stated in the condition notes, it will be in readable condition with no loose pages or tears.

I am an active member of bookcrossing.com so my books will contain a bookcrossing label on the inside front cover (or first blank sheet within). A journal entry on a book you recieve would be greatly appreciated, but not obligatory. You don't have to be a member of bookcrossing to journal a book. Once you have recieved the book it is officially yours by right of ownership, bookcrossing is merely a suggestion, not an obligation!

Having recently moved house I have had to restart my inventory from scratch. Hopefully my inventory will increase over time as I acquire more books, for now I am adding them as I (and other members of my family) read them.

All my books are acquired second hand either from charity shops, carboots sales, library sales, or various book swapping sites. My inventory comprises books from all my family. I use bookmooch to acquire books for myself, my partner, my 2 children, and my mum. I love bookswapping because it means somebody else is reading the books I no longer have space for while I in turn am acquiring a book that somebody else no longer needs. I love recieving books through the post, I love books, bookmarks, bookcrossing, bookmooch, and anything to do with books really!

All the books on my wishlist are ones I plan to mooch should they become available. My wishlist is immense, but mostly because the books I really want are specialist material that rarely becomes available, or they are owned by members from a different country who can't post overseas. I collect reference books about animals especially birds and mammals- pet care books, farming, wild animal/bird books, books about animal bones, animal skins, animal behaviour/diet/breeding. I don't mind if they are old and obscure or relatively modern, if I haven't already got a copy, I am happy to mooch! I also collect Shire Albums, Archaeology books, and I'm currently also looking for 'Pan book of horror stories' and 'Keyhole Crime' books. Feel free to email me if you have a book available for mooching that I might be interested in.

Status message:
For books going out of the UK, I will use the cheapest way, so that will add to the delivery time to get to the recipient.
I tend to go to the post office most days.

Bio:
I would describe myself a voracious reader; I devour books. I live on my own and don't watch much TV, if at all, but read loads and listen to music. I like to find new homes for my books, and I like to find books for people. I love doing competitions so the post brings me nice things like books and (sometimes) prizes.

I don't know if I'll be able to carry on mailing to the US and Canada within my budget so please email first. If I do send them I'll try my best to get books overseas to the US and Canada within a week of mooching, and for the UK I should have them to you in a couple of days :)

****FOR A SHORT PERIOD I WILL ONLY BE SENDING MY BOOKS TO MY OWN COUNTRY. I HAVE SENT A WHOPPING 77% OF ALL THE BOOKS MOOCHED OVERSEAS AND 25% TO THE USA - I NEED TO CUT BACK ON SPENDING!!****

All my books have a Bookcrossing label and stamp inside. I will endeavour to post any books as soon as possible.
Overseas from the UK will be Surface Mail (EU will normally be Airmail as the prices are very similar) Multiple requests from the same member outside the UK will definitely be posted Surface. All UK books will be posted 2nd Class.

I will give attention to moochers asap after any requests are e-mailed to me.

I can see more members stating that they will only send to overseas members who would do the same, I am not going to do that. What I will do is send the book requested by Surface Mail.

All my books are second hand, but usually in good/excellent condition. I will try put the condition in the general blurb.

Bio:
I am quite heavily associated with Bookcrossing.com and my membership there is coming up on 5 years, so you could say I'm fairly entrenched! I live in the UK and work for the NHS. We do not smoke but have cats so please be aware if you have allergies. I have been an energetic reader since the young years and can always be found with a book stashed somewhere, wherever I am! I do work shifts and weekends but will try to acknowledge your request asap. My favourite reads are definitely mystery and crime. Least favourite have to be romance. I'm not really keen on sending books abroad unless we can arrange a swap - am supposed to be mooching books to *save* money, lol! Do ask, though, you never know!
