I was adding some new books to my profile and noticed that there don't seem to be any new posts on the forum and the wiki is down. Is Bookmooch still active? Are people still mooching/posting?
Well, I'm sure not visiting every day but I do check the listings every so often for a book I'm seeking. Have not seen posts to Forum lately either tho, but some people are/were busy with the July Fourth holiday weekend, summer vacays and cookouts, days at the area beaches and parks, camping --- you know, all that summer stuff.
There are definitely people who are active. Those woh are inactive will have their accounts deactivated by getting cancelations. The site is probably in the state where it will work until it doesn't.
I think forum in general is becoming a thing of the past. There is a bookmooch subreddit on Reddit but it's not very active.
I check the site every couple of days for new books in the UK. I've got loads of points and never know what I might find. But the forums are rubbish in layout and functionality - I rarely post any more.
You can manually list them (Hand-Enter a Book)- I do this pretty frequently without issue.
For adding them to wishlists, I think you'd have to hand-enter them and then remove from your inventory; that would make the book show up as an option to wishlist. I could be wrong, though- I'd have to defer to others who wishlist items more often.
