Recipient left scathing feedback remarks about the book I sent. I sent the book immediately, she received the book a day or two after making her request. She did NOT contact me, but left her comments publically. She was upset because I LEFT NO CONDITION notes. There is no requirement that one leaves condition notes.I give away many, many books. I send them out carefully packaged and very quickly. This book, Goodnight Moon, is a children's book and was absolutely not in new condition, but was certainly a good reading copy. Um, can I just say that I am in LOVE with you right now! l0l...
I got back from work this afternoon and was *floored* to see what a certain ex-user had just posted to the forums. I didn't feel it was appropriate for me to comment on the case publically, which made it difficult because I felt like I couldnt' defend myself. I was wondering if any "old timers' on bookmooch would search her email addresses and look into the accounts themselves and notice.. bingo! switching points between accounts, mooching books between accounts, and several other items I can't mention that definteily flagged the account as abuse, and the second and third accounts as fraudulent. As another user noticed... the "mother" seems to have forgotten she is emailing the forums from her "daughter's" email address... lol!
Anyway, this is long and rambling, but I just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU for appreciating the situation and responding so eloquently! | |
