Reviews:
Merri Tabor (USA: PA) (2008/02/28): I have read several of Dick King-Smith's books, and I have to say this is one of the best ones he's ever written. It's a great book, and very interesting. Debra (USA: OR) (2011/06/05): Description: Flora is a mouse who is different from her brothers and sisters. She happily explores the kindergarten classroom, where she and her family live in one of the cupboards, and she even learns to read. Flora wants to move onto the first grade--just like the human children--but her quest for education leads to dangerous adventures. But the risks are worth it, as Flora and her family find out when her ability to read helps them to avoid the exterminator's deadly bait. Ages 7-10.
