'Gillian had come to Garvarnie, in the Pyrenees, to enter the convent of Notre-Dame-des-Orages. And now, where was she? Never had her cousin Jennifer felt so horribly alone.'This is Jennifer's story. She goes to see her cousin who has apparently and out-of-character, decided to become a nun, but has asked her to visit her at the convent. She is told her cousin is dead, but things don't quite add up. Her investigations are helped by a friend of several years ago who reappears to her great fortune. Or is it chance?
I enjoyed this, but my SO couldn't get on with it. Horses for courses..
