Description: Product Description
Shaun Mason is a man without a mission. Not even running the news organization he built with his sister has the same urgency as it used to. Playing with dead things just doesn't seem as fun when you've lost as much as he has.

But when a CDC researcher fakes her own death and appears on his doorstep with a ravenous pack of zombies in tow, Shaun has a newfound interest in life. Because she brings news-he may have put down the monster who attacked them, but the conspiracy is far from dead.

Now, Shaun hits the road to find what truth can be found at the end of a shotgun.
Reviews: Tria (United Kingdom) (2011/06/04):
Sequel to 'Feed'. I'm not putting this book on here because I didn't enjoy it - in fact, I gave it five stars on GoodReads. I loved it. It's shocking, frightening, intriguing, fascinating and beautiful, all the way through. You may even cry reading it. I nearly did.

I'm not saying much else, because I don't want to spoil the previous instalment of the trilogy by giving details. But even if you "don't like zombies", this and 'Feed' are spellbinding works. I'm not into zombie fiction generally, and these books aren't really about them. They're a little squicky in places if you don't like zombies, but they're not full of gore and gratuitous violence. This is about how life is adjusted for people in a world after the zombie apocalypse has already happened. It's about friendship and a passion for the truth. It's about how people are sometimes more monstrous than the monsters everyone fears. It's a wonderful book, and you should read it - but read 'Feed' first, if you haven't already.
