Relatively weak compared to others in the Bridgerton series, but still an overall good read. not her best work, but not her worst. don't buy it, mooch it.

Still a pretty good read, shed some tears, that sort of thing. im a sucker for romance novels, and while miss quinn's voice is too contemporary for her historical novels, i dont read romance novels (or follow certain authors) unless the writer is witty and funny, and julia quinn's books are definitely those which you will find addicting.
Characterization was good, it might have lacked more subplots but POV was mostly from the guy's, which is really refreshing.
