Status message:
I am a part-time student with a full-time job so I rarely have time to visit the post office during the week. Books will usually be posted on Saturday instead. I will generally ship worldwide using surface mail but may decline to send heavier/multiple books if the shipping costs are prohibitively high. Any restrictions on postage will be found in the condition notes of heavier books. International surface mail postage can be slow. As a guide: * Western Europe - up to 2 weeks from date of posting
* Eastern Europe - up to 5 weeks
* North America - up to 6 weeks
* South America, Africa and Asia - up to 8 weeks
* Australasia - up to 12 weeks Most books that I have sent have conformed to these estimates or arrived much more quickly, but some have taken much longer (3-6 months) so please be prepared to be patient! If you're an international moocher and your book(s) seem to be taking ages to arrive, please don't mark them lost until 6 months has elapsed. Yes, in rare cases the shipping really can take that long! My home is smoke-free and pet-free but as many of my books have come from secondhand bookshops I can't guarantee that they have always lived in such an environment. All books in my inventory have comprehensive condition notes. |
