And I'll gladly take it with a smooch!I'm an academic librarian and slacker reader. I used to read a few books a week, but lately I've been struggling to get through one or two a month. For the most part, I'm looking for specific books -- in some cases, specific editions -- and I am willing to wait for them to be added to the collective catalog. Occasionally I'll browse for something new, but in general, I know what I want and I'm not interested in anything else. You may want to recommend books to me that you have in your inventory, and that's fine. Keep in mind that I probably won't mooch them, and if you're insistent or persistent, I'll get quite annoyed. |
