Status message:
I am a smoker, but do not smoke in my home. I get most of my books from friends, thrift stores, and used book stores. The smells of my books do not tend to bother me and I don't notice those sorts of things. If you have a sensitive nose or react adversely to certain smells, then be aware that others books in my collection may be in the same condition.

Bio:
I tend to be a very eclectic reader. On occasion I grab a book on a whim if it has an interesting title or an exceptional blurb. I enjoy the redundancy of Haruki Murakami's writings, the predictability of Sandra Brown, and the sense of "wrapping up" that Walter Mosely so eloquently does with everything he writes. I have an unhealthy and sometimes morbid interest in WWII/Holocaust books and because I have my masters degree in forensic psychology I'm addicted to crime/serial killer books and novels. When I allow myself to read fiction, there usually has to be some basis in fact such as Homer Hickam's books. I hoard books from the dollar store and goodwill, but will occasionally buy a book at market price from a "real" bookstore. Because, as any reader knows, there is no money in used books and storage space is limited, I have begun to invest more into my Kindle with it's unending storage capacity.

I presently have several outstanding acceptances to send internationally; therefore, I've turned that feature off for the moment. Once I have sent those titles, I will again turn on the feature.
