Status message:
I'm amazed by the extremely poor condition of books I'm receiving and the very poor packaging. I didn't think I was going to get hard cover first editions in perfect condition but I did think that something more than a thin envelope would be wrapped around the book and the cover would not have been taped up multiple times. Guess it's my ignorance, with one exception (I notified the recipient and offered the point back) I have only shipped out books in good to like new condition and have at least wrapped a layer of cardboard around each to keep them from bending.

Best book I've read in a long time: The Devil's Devices or Control vs Service. Published in 1915 and still relevant.
